with Tenants Queensland
This project involved the design and development of a creative kit to engage people who are currently residing in social housing in Queensland with an aim to:
- Provide accessible and meaningful way for the tenants’ voices to be heard, and;
- Encourage participants to reflect on what engagement/participation may mean to them, and their experiences of living in their communities, as well as needs and aspirations for changes in the future.
Based on the key insights, especially the different challenges we might face in defining community and articulating related needs and desires, we created a series of StoryCards, depicting a variety of potential community experiences. These may be used as visual prompts for individual reflection, to guide group discussions, encourage dialogues and spark curiosity around community living, and simply as postcards. They will be made available on the Resources page soon.
